Strategic changes at FUNREDES |

After a period of transition during the 2005 FUNREDES it's transformed in a "Think Tank" in 2006, with this new organization is not
going to develop national projects, but we are centered in developing more focused actions in ICT4D and IS with seminaries, consultancies
and/or methodologies among others.
Funredes changes to a NGO with a board director who do not occupy functions of work in Funredes, but like employees or consultants.

Funredes comes back to "virtual office" that it has had in the past with a group of associated consultants, although the physical office
stays, at least, during year 2006 in Santo Domingo.

The main axes of FUNREDES are:
- Cultural and linguistic diversity in the society of the information with projects like LC, Cardicis.
- Procesos participativos multisectoriales desde la perspectiva de la sociedad civil con proyectos como Socinfodo y e.Dominicana.
- Colaboración entre ONG del campo y cooperación Sur-Sur.
- Educación a distancia y ética de la información.
- Dividendo digital.
