Mes recherches en geographie rurale portent sur deux themes principaux :
- Le developpement agricole
- Les amenagements hydrauliques
Un axe majeur relie ces recherches : le developpement durable.
Dans l'application a la Tunisie, deux sous-themes sont developpes :
- La conservation des ressources naturelles, notamment l'eau ou comment
intensifier pour
accroitre la production agricole tout en economisant la ressource,
aujourd'hui de plus en
plus sollicitee ?
- Systemes de production agricole, mondialisation et developpement local.
Quel avenir pour
la petite paysannerie ?

My research in rural geography is about two main topics:
- The agricultural development
- The hydraulic planning
A major line joins these researches: the sustainable development.
In the application to Tunisia, two subtopics are developed:
- The conservation of the natural resources, in particular water or how to
intensify to increase
the agricultural production while saving the resource, increasingly
exploited today?
- Systems of agricultural production, globalization and local development.
What future for the
small peasantry?
