I am 36 years old, single, have Ph.D in History and work for the
International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a National Programme
officer. The objective of the Main Programme of the Organization implemented
in the country is to built the capacity of the Government of Georgia to
manage migration processes itself. That is mainly done through the
consultancy, staff training, technical assistance and development of the
migration legislation, that has to become the basis to all initiatives in
this direction.
I think that sharing of my experience accumulated through 7 years of my work
with this organization can be of interest of my colleagues in the forum.That
will also give us the possibility to jointly seek best ways for solution of
problems resulting from the irregular, unmanaged migration.

J'ai 36 ans, celibataire, j'ai un Doctorat en Histoire et travaille pour
l'Organisation Internationale pour la Migration (IOM) en tant que membre du
Programme National. L'objective du Programme Principal de l'Organisation
applique dans ce pays est d'equiper le Gouvernement de Georgie avec la
capacite de diriger les processus de migration par lui meme. Ceci se fait
principalement a travers le cabinet-conseil, la formation du personnel, l'
assistance technique et le developpement de la legislation en matiere de
migration, qui doit devenir la base de toutes les initiatives dans cette
direction.
Je pense que partager mon experience accumulee pendant 7 annees de mon
travail avec cette organisation peut etre interesant pour mes collegues dans
le forum. Ceci nous donnera aussi la possibilite de chercher conjointement
les meilleures facons pour resoudre les problemes derives de la migration
irreguliere et non geree.
