Hola amigos!
Me llamo Sergio Escribano. Tengo 23 anos y estoy acabando mis estudios de
Ingeniero Agronomo en la especialidad de Industrias Agroalimentarias.
Habitualmente vivo en Valencia (Espana), donde colaboro desde hace tres
anos con la ONG CERAI (Centro de Estudios Rurales y de Agricultura
Internacional) [<http://www.maptel.es/plataformarural/Cerai.htm> (*)]. Mi
trabajo ha consistido, junto con otros companeros, en organizar actividades
(campos de trabajo, conferencias, etc) sobre la problematica que trata este
foro electronico.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en la FPH (Fundacion Charles Leopold Mayer
para el Progreso del Hombre) en el programa APM (agriculturas campesinas,
sociedades y mundializacion) en Paris (Francia).
En concreto, estoy interesado sobre el problema que supone la
industrializacion de la agricultura y la alimentacion y sus consecuencias
sobre la salud, el medio ambiente y la economia de los campesinos. Tambien
tengo interes en analizar y debatir sobre las consecuencias del abandono de
las zonas rurales en todo el mundo y en Europa en particular. Que politicas
favorecen este abandono y que soluciones se plantean ?
Por ultimo, animar a todos los participantes de este foro a que animen a
sus companeros de trabajo, amigos y familiares a participar en el mismo.

Hello friends!
My name is Sergio Escribano. I am 23 years old and I am finishing my
studies of Agricultural Engineer in the specialty of Agricultural Industries.
Habitually I live in Valencia (Spain), where I collaborate for three years

work has consisted, together with other partners, in organizing activities

At the moment I am working in FPH (Foundation Charles Leopold Mayer for
Progress of the Humankind) in the APM programs (Family farming, Society and
Globalization) in Paris (France).
Specifically, I am interested on the problem that supposes
industrialization of the agriculture and food and their consequences on the
health, the environment and the economy of the farmers. I am also
interested to analyze and to debate on the consequences of the abandon in
the entire world of the rural areas and in Europe in particular. What
policies favor this abandonment and what are the solutions ?
Lastly, to motivate all the participants of this forum to motivate their
co-workers, friends and family to also participate.
