d'horizons politiques et de terrains de luttes divers. Cette diversite qui
fait la richesse du
mouvement democratique et progressiste en Tunisie, constitue aussi un des
points forts de
RAID.
Le RAID est l'expression d'un mouvement de resistance citoyenne a la
politique d'ajustement
structurel, pendant local de la mondialisation liberale. Ce dernier
phenomene qui procede d'une
liberte accrue des mouvements de capitaux, notamment a caractere speculatif,
porte de graves
atteintes a l'ensemble de la collectivite humaine et notamment aux peuples
du Sud. La nature
n'est pas epargnee par cette course effrenee vers le profit economique
maximum qu'impose la
mondialisation liberale.
RAID agit pour :
- la mise en place, en Tunisie, d'un espace democratique de reflexion,
d'analyse, et de
propositions commune en vue de l'elaboration d'un projet alternatif de
developpement
oppose au programme liberal.
- Informer, nourrir le debat, agir ensemble et se faire entendre sur les
consequences
economiques, sociales, culturelles et ecologiques de la politique
d'ajustement structurel.
Nous refusons le discours dominant du liberalisme qui impose la
libre-circulation des
marchandises et des capitaux et la fuite de ces capitaux vers les paradis
fiscaux tout en
empechant la liberte de circulation des personnes.

The RAID [<http://attac.org/tunisie/index.html> (*)] gathers the militants
that come from different
political horizons and battle fields . This diversity which epitomizes the
wealth of the democratic
and progressive movement in Tunisia also constitutes one of the strong
points of RAID.
The RAID is the expression of citizens resistance movement to the policy
of structural
adjustment, local equivalent of the liberal globalization. This last
phenomenon that is derived
from an increased freedom of fund movements, mainly speculative in nature,
strikes a serious
blow at the whole human community and especially to the peoples of the
South. Nature has not
been spared this wild race toward the maximum economic profit that imposes
liberal
globalization.
RAID acts for:
- the setting up, in Tunisia, of a democratic space of thought, analysis,
and joint proposals
with a view to the elaboration of an alternative project of development
opposed to the liberal
program.
- informing, fostering discussions, acting together and being heard on
the economic, social,
cultural and ecological consequences of the structural adjustment policy.
We refuse the dominant rhetoric of liberalism that imposes the free
circulation of the goods and
funds and the flight of these funds toward tax havens while preventing the
freedom of circulation
of people.
