I want to thank all of you for telling me about the global access fund
-system during the cardicis meeting.
When I came back to Suriname I told my seniors at educons about this
option, they did some lobbying and as a result it has been put in the new
telecom legislation that a % of the profit of the telecom sector will be
available for e-education, e-health, scientific research etc. :-)
I think the surinamese society will profit from the profit of the telecom
sector.

It will be very important that at one point of time a study be made to
understand the situation of each country as regard to this principle and
the real impact it has obtained... Just an idea for the international
organizations who are around. This subject is of paramount importance and I
