Hmm
Until we see the budget, we can't say whether there are other things that
were given priority that could have been lower down. Having a website in 7
languages looks to me like linguistic diversity was quite a high priority.
Of course, they could have had the survey in 7 languages and had no $$ left
to analyse it?
BTW - gotta say that at the regional WSIS meeting, documents were in
Portuguese and Spanish, and Anglophone folks managed to function - English
documents were not a priority and French docs were virtually non-existent.
The ECLAC meeting the day before had no interpretation or translation of
documents, so seems as if Otherphones have the same psychology.
So maybe the problem is the psychology of diversity and this is global?
