I'd add - not just ICANN - the IGF is forming, there are many other major
initiatives starting up and we don't have enough info about them. The IETF,
the "Global Alliance" (ex UNICT TF), etc.

Who are the people the project is for? If we think that it is for "us",
then It is required that "we" proactively get involved in advance, or as
early as possible, esp as no-one outside knows about "us"! Thus they can't
necessarily check with "us". This is partially why I stepped up at ICANN
and WSIS - so that Anglophone Caribbean ppl are somewhat in the loop. More
non-anglophones need to do this as well.

Slight confusion - I know CARDICIS and CIVIC - I'm involved with CIVIC and
somewhat with CARDICIS - which group is Mistica now? And what does that one
do?

Additional items:
There is a lot of space for misunderstanding as non-native speaking ppl dont
speak/read the same as native speakers... given that the translation of the
lists exists, maybe non-native speakers should check back the
translation/interpretation of the message before responding.(I know that I
do that with messages in Spanish or French - just to make sure that it
really says what I thought it said) - even though the translation is
automatic and thus horribly suspect.
