I believe the closure of CARDICIS seems sensible, though it also
seems to be concluded for the same reason that it was started: Lack
of communication. I can name very few people on this list who have
been active and have invested themselves into CARDICIS. Granted, my
own contributions have become more sparing - but then I have many
walls that I may speak with and do not see the use of a virtual wall
with which to converse.

It saddens me that an attempt such as this, to bring people closer
together despite language barriers, must end so - but then, for every
ending there is a beginning. Maybe a little piece of CARDICIS will
remain in the minds and hearts of those that participated, and maybe
friendships will persist over time. But I would most certainly like
to see the list end before it becomes something like CIVIC. In my
mind, Funredes has continued CPR on this for long enough and I thank
them for their valiant efforts.

Adieu, adios, goodbye. Forgive me my inability to say goodbye in
Dutch and Portugese, I fear that this is something I never had time to address.
