AIRPORTS
St Lucia has two airports, Hewannorra Airport (UVF) in the south of the
island, (Air Jamaica flights get there) and George F.L. Charles Airport
(SLU) in the north. The taxi journey to the hotel will take just over one
hour from Hewannorra, twenty minutes from George Charles.
On arrival keep the carbon copy of the Immigration Card, submitted to the
Authorities, for submission on departure.

TRANSPORTATION
Arrangements have been made in order to have a driver waiting for you upon
arrival to take you to the hotel. You will identify him for the
"FRANCOPHONIE" . Same arrangements from the hotel to the airport for your
return flight.

SCHEDULE
- Aug 29 Welcome Reception of the group at the Hotel.
- Aug 30th until Sep 1st from 8:30 am to 13:00 and from 3:00 to 6:00
pm (two hours for lunch time).
The meeting will take place at the Bougainvilleia Conference Room.
- Aug. 30th at 8:00 pm a party for the "Festival Fet la woz" will take
place in the Hotel.
- Aug 31st: Group dinner at 8:00 pm at the Restaurant.

OTHER INFORMATION:

- Exchange rate: St Lucia uses the East Caribbean Dollar (EC). The fixed
exchange rate to the United States Dollar (US$) is US$1.00 = EC$2.67.

- The electricity is 220volts 50hz.

- The tap water is safe to drink, but you can also buy bottled water.

- Daytime temperatures are currently about 30º C. At night the temperature
falls to about 27º C. This is the wet season, and a wet day can feel much
cooler, as can air-conditioned conference rooms.
