I think that those who are willing to try Mozilla
(http://www.mozilla.org ) may be impressed with it. It is inherently
secure from a technical standpoint, it's available at no cost for
download, and it has a feature called 'tabbed browsing' which I find
very useful when researching and writing. I presently have 9 tabs open
in the same browser.
I'll be posting some links to useful software for ICTs, communities and
educators shortly, and though I would prefer that people use GNU/Linux
(commonly called Linux), I understand that freedom extends to choice. As
such, I'll post some links to Free Software (as in Freedom) within the
next week, Ivan-permitting.
I think I will do this tonight. The other article related to culture
hasn't coalesced yet. I didn't walk long enough today, I think - most of
my writing is done between footsteps.
