At KnowProSE.com, I'm having a little fun with talking about Ivan. It's
something to do while I await Ivan's next move, whatever it may be.

I live in a colonial style home - open air - should be fine where I am
in South Trinidad. If it touches Trinidad, I'll have to turn off the
systems and move them to a more secure area - downstairs, more than
likely, but that is not really too smart either. Things have a tendency
to fall *down*, as an Englishman under an apple tree noted a long time
ago (to date, it hasn't changed - most peoples toes can attest to that).

Things do not look good for the North East coast of Trinidad, and
certainly not for Tobago. I'll try to post updates to the site as
information comes in, but bear in mind that T&T's connection to the
internet - the sole one, as I have found, unless they are hiding another
- is through Tobago. So if I stop communicating... don't worry. It's
more than likely that a coconut tree fell on the Telecommunications
Services of Trinidad and Tobago's (TSTT's) dish at that point. I expect
that. I also expect power outages.

I do hope that people are evacuating from Trinidad's North-East coastal
areas. But I hear that the Prime Minister has asked everyone to stay
indoors, and stay calm. Ahh. Shelters are being pointed to.

Someone just mentioned that the Trinidad and Tobago culture isn't used
to hurricanes. Goes with what Yacine wrote yesterday.

I'm not overly worried for myself.

The radio is going crazy with worried people. FM radio is beginning to
become distorted. I just walked outside the house, and looked around...
and realized... there's really nowhere else to go anyway. There's low
danger here, but Trinidad and Tobago is about 60 miles by 40 miles. The
winds extending from the eye are of at least 70 miles right now.

LOL. Looters are being given fair warning right now.

I'm going to have a cup of coffee.
