• Assistant to projects about  information society  and social impact of ICT  

• Support to a virtual community management  

• Support to a virtual observatory creation

The post has been designed for a student completing his/her studies and being  interested in an internship, or even better, interested in doing a PhD on a subject related to the mentioned themes. This work, which reports directly to the FUNREDES Direction, offers an exceptional possibility to learn and practice these issues.  It may evolve and become a job offer within one or two years.

Requirements  

• Topic knowledge (could be only theorics)  

• Good network culture  

• Fluency in Internet skills  

• Basic experience in virtual community management  

• Basic experience in Web pages design  

• Study oriented person that will have to read a lot of reports about these topics and write as well  

• Able of a technological watch on the issue

Desirable  

• Able to translate into the three languages used in the Web site  

Possible country of origin    

• Young person, ending studies in the Latin America region (Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela�)  

• Young person, ending studies in another South region (Africa, Asia, Middle East)

 

• Young person, ending studies in an industrialized country and interested in a field experience in the South.
