Project GKPLAC: Objectives

• To identify actors from the public sector, private sector, academic sector, civil society and international organisations, that foster and apply ICT for development from Latin America and the Caribbean.



• To create awareness about the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) while inviting them to participate in this Project.



• To build an online repository of information on ICT4D actors in the LAC region, their headquarters, contact person, mission, objectives, activities, projects, products, services, thematic areas, target communities, use given to ICT, relationships with other organisations, networks or virtual communities.



• To promote the participation of ICT4D actors in the LAC region through the online registration of their organisations' details.



• To consolidate new working relationships within sectors, through ICT4D actors who share the common vision of sustainable development, knowledge exchange and capacity building for ICT for social empowerment.
