>>Blogs mentioned in the NY Times regarding the Tsunami (...)

Yes, I am involved in WorldChanging.com (http://www.worldchanging.com )
and the SEA EAT blog (http://tsunamihelp.blogspot.com/ ), which were
both mentioned. I just posted something on the longer lasting effects
(fishing) at WorldChanging.com.
The SEA EAT weblog has obtained unlimited bandwidth from Google.com, and
has gotten mention in all the major press. In fact, it's even on Google's
homepage.
Also of note is the role that the Wikipedia has played in this event.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake_in_India
It's probably been getting about 4,000 page views per minute at peak
times, based on estimates from the Wikinews link which the servers could
no longer handle. No kidding. Oddly, there are no translations to other
languages... I don't know what that means, but that is certainly open to
speculation. Looks like everyone interested in the tsunami is reading and
writing English - I doubt that this is true, but I can't prove otherwise.
