Abstract:

Presentation of the on-line working group on women and the media, active
until Dec. 18, 1999, and part of the Beijing+5 Global Forum. The discussion
is focused on the impact of ICT, and deals with several issues, aiming at
discussing in what extent the objectives of the Beijing Platform of Action
about women and media have been realized, and what still needs to be done.
