The webpage is indeed shaping up and is most attractive and interesting.

I do still have a question though, regarding type of clothing we should
bring. I would imagine informal for during the day (as if for work,
perhaps), but is there anything that will require formal dress? Do
gentlemen need a tie and jacket or suit?

This is a civil society meeting and no formal dress is required.
The only requirement is for good will to participate and share :-) which
we know you all have...
