IV Rencontre
internationale d'expression noire du 12 au 19 octobre � Bogota
La Colombie a c�l�br�
cette ann�e son 150� anniversaire de l'abolition de l'esclavage(21 mai
1851). Depuis la constitution de 1991, ce pays reconnait officiellement
sa composante culturelle noire. La guerre civile qui depuis 37
ans ruine le pays pousse tous les paysans � gagner la capitale dont les
r�sidents ignoraient que la Colombie avait aussi des origines
africaines. Ainsi depuis une dizaine d'ann�e, cette culture commence �
�tre valoris�e, au del� de la cumbia et du vallenato, champeta ( c�te
carib�enne, soukous � la sauce colombienne) et chirimia ( c�te pacifique )
se r�pandent dans tout le pays.
La IV� �dition de la Rencontre internationale d'expression noire du 12 au 19
octobre � Bogota aura cette ann�e une envergure pariculi�re.
Esperanza Bioho, l'organisatrice, souhaiterait pouvoir �tablir des contacts
avec des chercheurs ou des associations fran�aises, en
particulier de la Cara�be, afin de confronter r�flexions et pratiques au
sujet de l'esclavage, de l'abolition, de la m�moire, des cultures afroam�ricaines...
La FUNDACI�N CULTURAL
COLOMBIA NEGRA, entidad sin �nimo de lucro que desde
1978, esta trabajando por la reconstrucci�n cultural del pueblo afrocolombiano
y en repetidas ocasiones ha llevado la representaci�n de
Colombia a diversos cert�menes art�sticos, socioculturales, nacionales e
internacionales dejando siempre muy en alto el nombre de nuestro pa�s.
IV Encuentro Internacional de Expresi�n Negra 2001, es una excelente oportunidad
para vivir un maravilloso e intenso Encuentro con la civilizaci�n m�s antigua de la
humanidad, un di�logo de culturas y saberes milenarios, 23 pa�ses, 300
representaciones e intervenciones, 700 participantes provenientes de
�frica, Europa, Norteam�rica, Centroam�rica y Sudam�rica.

SEMINARIO TALLER INTERNACIONAL DE ESTUDIOS AFRICANISTAS del
13 AL 18 de octubre Destacados expertos antrop�logos, soci�logos, fil�sofos,
novelistas, historiadores, investigadores, poetas, m�sicos, danzarines,
educadores, gestores culturales, actores, lideres comunitarios y directores
de ONG's provenientes de �frica, Europa, Norteam�rica, Centroam�rica y
Suram�rica. Este seminario es un gran espacio de sensibilizaci�n,
capacitaci�n, formaci�n y difusi�n en torno a las culturas africanistas, en
donde expertos examinar�n los aportes que han hecho los y las
afrodescendientes a la civilizaci�n universal.
El Comit� cient�fico esta conformado por el doctor Manuel Zapata Olivella,
m�dico, antrop�logo, novelista y tambi�n los cient�ficos, Norma
Jackson, Pedro Ondo Andeme, Mario Hoyos Ben�tez, entre otros.

Colombia celebrated
this year his/her/its 150� birthday of the l'esclavage(21 May abolition
1851). since the constitution of 1991, this country recognizes officially
his/her/its component cultural crotchet. The civil war that since 37
years ruin the country pushes all peasants to win the capital of which the

The IV� edition of the international Meeting of black expression of the 12 at 19
October in Bogota will have this year a span pariculi�re.
