Some light to go with the heat!

The remaining question is -- what are the definitions of "active user" and "very active user?" If we could agree on such definitions, the counts would speak for themselves.

One could report the distribution of time since last login (as
suggested by Daniel), number of logins per month for each user,
traffic per user, etc.

What statistics would give useful feedback to the folks in the region, funding agencies, and others?
