What I said after the "--" (it is elided with ...) was that I felt the edited summary file should be a joint effort of Daniel and Saul/Archie, and that Daniel should ask their permission, not mine. I just made the initial query.

I did not know the background which has come out in the subsequent exchange. Perhaps you could come up with a common summary, by starting out with the things you agree on -- state the common ground, then the differences. I assume you all have similar goals for the region, and there is a lot of work to be done.
