I would add to Daniel comments that an obvious symptom of the design
errors in this project are the failure of "communities" dynamics.. i
remember some months ago a very accurate analysis (posted in GKD lisT -
I cant find a copy now) on the complete failure of Development Gateway (DG)
community building dynamic. Knowing that, why create another community/list
on ICT4 Dev
istead of supporting and bettering the existing ones?. I guess the
reason of failure is that the basic ingredients for (virtual) community
building, as empathy and particIpative "sense/common vision" building,
are missing in most DG "communities" and that the only common interest
that attracts participants is WB principal argument i.e. money for
projects or consulting.. (I do apply for both:-) ). But money can't buy me
love - (C) The Beatles.
