"IBM TO PLACE SOFTWARE CODE INTO PUBLIC DOMAIN"
IBM plans to announce today that is will contribute more
than a half a million lines of software code into the public
domain. The company is making the code contribution to try
to help make it easier and more appealing for software
developers to write applications in the Java programming
language.
