Perhaps you have said this already in the recent discussion on SIC -
Sociedad Information y Conocimiento??, but my Spanish is not good
enough for Spanish semantics :-(
I just watched the "Sahara" episode of Bob Geldof's BBC series on
Africa. At the end he speaks of tapping in to a universal "world wide
web", not of information, not of knowledge, not even of wisdom, but
of understanding. It seems to me that perhaps "understanding" is the
most important word.
"Understanding" is the thing which makes the communication work.
"Understanding" is what we are all striving towards (hopefully). None
of the other words - information, knowledge, wisdom - has any value
without understanding.
