I agree with Jacqueline about the desirability of positive contributions :-)
I understand that ICANN is currently inviting membership from
interested groups in its At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) - a very
unfortunate, or very flattering, acronym for our part of the world :-)

I suggest that CARDICIS, CIVIC and MISTICA might each consider membership.
