Abstract:

The EUROLATIS project (Euro-Latin American Information Society)
by the Spanish cooperation and European Union, intends to encourage
collaborations between Europe and Latin America, in the field of the
information society. They will develop thematic workshops to start
proposals (nothing has been planned on "social impact", but the author
will suggest it). The first workshop, in Guatemala (3-4/02/2000), will
deal with electronic commerce. The persons who are interested can read
enclosure documents and apply. Moreover the message gives
explanations on the logistic aspects.
