ISTICAF, an unexpected venue of action-research that emerged from the creative potential of MISTICA’s virtual community, consisted in an ambitious field research conducted in 7 African countries. More than 200 social activists in Africa responsible of ICT projects, were interviewed in order to bridge up similar experiences in both continents. As a consequence, ISTICAF made the very first steps and set up the basics for further exploratory work between similar initiatives in the two continents with the side objective to open bridges for south-south in that crucial field.
